A third man has now been charged after a number of cars were damaged with a baseball bat in Sydney’s west at the weekend.
About 11pm on Saturday (7 November 2020), a man was travelling as a passenger in a Holden Colorado when he allegedly leant out of the window and damaged several cars parked in Banfield Drive, Oran Park with a baseball bat.
It will be alleged by police that another occupant inside the vehicle videoed the incident which was uploaded to a social media website.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command were contacted about the matter and commenced investigations.
About midday yesterday (Tuesday 10 November 2020), two men aged 21 and 23 were arrested and charged at Narellan Police Station. Those matters remain before the courts.
Shortly before 11am today (Wednesday 11 November 2020), an 18-year-old man presented to Narellan Police Station where he was arrested and charged with malicious damage (x3) and P1 driver passenger (>16) not wear seatbelt.
He was given conditional bail and will appear in Picton Local Court on Wednesday 12 December 2020.
