Following inquiries, a 23-year-old Dharruk man was arrested on Napier Street just after 11am, and was taken to hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

He was later released into police custody and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with exceed speed, police pursuit – not stop – drive recklessly, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, and not give particulars to other driver.

He was refused bail and will appear in Mt Druitt Local Court today (Thursday 2 July 2020).
