A man has been charged during an investigation into drug supply in the Wollongong area.
Strike Force Aperta was initiated in October 2018 to investigate drug supply in the region, and has resulted in the arrest of numerous people for drug supply and fraud offences.
About 7.30am today (Friday 12 April 2019), investigators attended an address on Prairie Street, Schofields, and arrested a 33-year-old man.
A Firearms Prohibition Order and Weapons Prohibition Order were served upon the man and the premises was searched.
Officers allegedly located 476 grams of methylamphetamine, 20ml of methylamphetamine oil, 100ml of GBL, $2800 cash and various other exhibits relevant to the investigation.
The man was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with drug supply over a large commercial quantity (x2), drug supply over commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug between small and indictable quantity, and organise drug premises expose child.
He was refused bail and appeared at Blacktown Local Court today (Friday 12 April 2019), where he was remanded in custody to reappear at the same court on Monday 17 April 2019.
