Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged a man with the ongoing supply of cocaine across Sydney’s south.
Late last year, the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad and the NSW Crime Commission commenced an investigation into the supply of illicit drugs in Sydney’s south.
As part of ongoing investigations, strike force detectives arrested a 23-year-old man at Botany about 9am yesterday (Tuesday 18 February 2020).
Police will allege the man was at the location to supply cocaine.
Shortly after, a Volkswagon Amarok utility was searched, and a search warrant was executed at a Botany home, where detectives seized more than $25,000 cash, cocaine, mobile phones, drug paraphernalia and documents.
The man was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with deal with property proceeds of crime, supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity x2), and supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis.
Police will allege in court that the man supplied cocaine more than 50 times between November 2019 and February 2020.
He was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today (Wednesday 19 February 2020).
Investigations are continuing.
