NSW police charge man with attempted murder at Hannam Vale

A man has been charged with attempted murder on the state’s mid north coast.

About 5pm on Thursday 12 December 2019, a 53-year-old woman arrived at a home in Hannam Vale, where she was allegedly grabbed by a 52-year-old man known to her.

He was charged with attempt to strangle with intent to murder.

He was refused bail to appear before Newcastle Local Court yesterday (Sunday 15 December 2019), where he was again refused bail to appear at the same court today (Monday 16 December 2019).
