NSW police charge man with fail to comply with reporting obligations

Police have charged a man after he allegedly fail to comply with reporting obligations.

As part of routine inquiries, specialist officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command conducted an inspection at a premises at Malabar last Thursday (16 January 2020).

During the visit, police identified that the resident – a 62-year-old man – had possibly failed to report changed personal information as per his obligations for a court order.

Following further inquiries, the man was arrested at the Malabar premises about 7am today (Wednesday 22 January 2020).

He was taken to Maroubra Police Station and charged with two counts of fail to comply with reporting obligations.

The man was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Waverley Local Court later today.
