A man will face court today charged with murder after the alleged stabbing of a man in Sydney’s west last month.
Emergency services were called to a home in Magellan Avenue at Lethbridge Park about 11.45pm on Sunday 23 February 2020, after reports a man had been stabbed.
A 23-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his chest and treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died a short time later.
Detectives from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established strike Force Drungalear to investigate the man’s death.
Following inquiries, officers from Blacktown Police Area Command arrested a 28-year-old man at a Seven Hills home about 4am today (Saturday 7 March 2020).
He was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with murder.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 7 March 2020).
