Two people have been charged following an unauthorised protest at Lane Cove North.
Police attended Longueville Road, Lane Cove North, about 4.25pm yesterday (Saturday 9 April 2022) after two women sat on the roadway, stopping traffic.
Officers from North Shore Police Area Command removed and arrested the women a short time later.
The women – aged 67 and 48 – were taken to Chatswood Police Station. They were charged with enter etc Sydney Harbour Bridge etc disrupt etc vehicles etc, not obey direction of police/authorised person and pedestrian obstruct driver’s/other pedestrian’s path.
Both women have been bail refused to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 9 April 2022).
