Police are appealing for public assistance after a child was allegedly approached by a man in East Albury.
Shortly after 12.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 17 September 2019), a 13-year-old girl was walking along Borella Road, East Albury, when she was approached by an unknown man.
Police have been told the man grabbed the girl’s hand and spoke to her.
The girl broke away and ran to her mother’s workplace and the incident was reported to police.
Officers from Murray River Police District were notified, and an investigation commenced, with police wishing to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, wearing a red and black flannelette t-shirt and black pants, with grey hair and forehead tattoos on his hairline.
