Police are appealing for public assistance following a string of break and enters in Sydney City this week.
In the early hours of Wednesday 6 April 2022, a man broke into four separate businesses throughout the Sydney CBD and stole several items.
The man gained entry to a business on Harris Street, Pyrmont just before 3.30am, before allegedly breaking into an office within where he disconnected the CCTV cameras.
A short time later, the same man kicked open the fire escape door of a business on George Street, Sydney, before stealing a lock box containing cash.
He was seen leaving on a blue, black and white scooter with unknown registration.
About 5.14am, the same man forced entry of a supermarket, located at Quay Street, Haymarket where he stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing.
The man also attempted to kick open the front door of a nearby but was unsuccessful.
Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were alerted of the incident and commenced inquiries into each.
Police have released images of a man seen in the areas at the time who they believe may be able to assist with inquires.
The man is described as being of medium build, approximately 175cm tall, wearing a bright yellow hi-vis vest, black long sleeve shirt, black long pants and black shoes. He was also wearing black gloves, a black face covering and a white motorcycle helmet.
