Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly stabbed by a person riding a trail bike.
Just after 4pm yesterday (Thursday 16 January 2019), emergency services were called to Alemein Avenue, North Albury, following an assault.
Officers from Murray River Police District attended and found a 56-year-old man with a wound to his hand.
He was taken to Albury Hospital where he has undergone surgery. His injures are not considered life-threatening.
Police have been told the man was wounded by a person riding an unregistered yellow trail bike.
Inquiries are continuing.
