An investigation is underway following a house fire in the state’s Murray River region at the weekend.
Just after 1am on Sunday (6 February 2022), emergency services were called to a home on Kestral Avenue, North Albury, following reports of a fire.
Firefighters attended and extinguished the blaze, which had significantly damaged the house.
No one was home at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
Officers attached to Murray River Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the blaze, which has been deemed suspicious.
