About 11.35pm (Wednesday 2 September 2020), police were called to a home on Runcorn Street, St Johns Park, following reports numerous shots had been fired, damaging several windows and cars.
Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
Nine people – including three children – were home at the time and no one was injured.
As part of ongoing inquiries, police are urging anyone with information about two dark coloured sedans and a dark coloured SUV, seen near the home around the time of the incident to contact police.
