In the wake of devastating flooding across New South Wales, local and state government agencies will complete a review of urban levees.
Coordinated by NSW Public Works, the levee repair and maintenance program will highlight any necessary repair and maintenance work.
NSW Public Works will run the land survey part of the program in the Kempsey Local Government Area from Monday 21 November until 23 December 2022
During this time NSW Public Works officers and consultants may require access to your property to capture imagery and the grade of the levee.
The land survey will take place using an aerial drone and officers will ensure livestock is not disturbed.
The condition assessments are scheduled to commence in early 2023.
Following the visual inspections, condition assessments and land survey, NSW Public Works will use the information captured to prioritise planned maintenance and repairs.
