Locals aged 12 to 24 are encouraged to get involved in a variety of community activities and events hosted as part of NSW Youth Week.
NSW Youth Week runs from 11 to 21 April and this year’s theme is Express, Empower, Get Loud! which focuses on encouraging youth to get involved and advocate for themselves.
“Youth Week is an opportunity to recognise our youth and celebrate their contributions and continued presence in our community,” said Mayor George Greiss.
“These grant-funded Council and community events will give our local youth the opportunity to come together and share in this celebration, so I encourage everyone to get involved,” Dr Greiss said.
