ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC: A trough will move into central districts from today. This trough will lead to possible heavy rainfall from thunderstorms in central districts until it weakens around Saturday.
Daily widespread totals of 15 – 40 mm are possible from Wednesday to Friday with isolated heavier falls. Some locations in the flood watch area may receive over 100 mm across the 3-day period.
Many roads, and possibly primary and secondary highways may be affected with accumulated rainfall over the next few days. Some communities and homesteads may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
