One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 3 near Monmouth Road, Pembroke, Stratford District.
Emergency services responded to reports of the crash around 11pm.
One person was located deceased, and seven others were located in a moderate to serious condition.
The Serious Crash Unit has conducted a scene examination and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
The road was closed but has since reopened around 8:40am.
