Police are currently in attendance at a logging truck roll-over on Paierau Road, near Opaki in the Wairarapa.
The driver has suffered serious injuries and will be taken to hospital.
The road is blocked and motorists will need to avoid the area.
Diversions will be put in place shortly, however there will be long delays due to removal of the logs and the trailer unit.
