As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in relation to an incident in Pukemiro on Friday March 1.
The man has also been charged with assault with a weapon.
He will appear at Hamilton District Court tomorrow.
