Police are now in a position to name the man who died in a crash at the intersection of Tirohanga and Tram roads, Kinleith Forest, on Wednesday 11 September.
He was 31-year-old Ayush Karki of Owhata, Rotorua.
Police extend their condolences to his family and friends.
