A custodial correctional officer is receiving precautionary treatment following an incident with a prisoner at Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre yesterday.
Around 12.30pm, a prisoner in a secure unit was speaking with an officer when she spat in the officer’s face.
The prisoner was restrained by officers and was escorted to the Detention Unit.
