Enterprise, has today announced the launch of a new 5G led Innovation Program, designed to bring enterprise, SMBs and startups together. With the cumulative impact of 5G technology over the decade estimated at $130bn of extra economic activity, the program aims to identify, test and explore future-state 5G use cases and how they can apply to business, Government and community life today and in the years to come.
Leveraging Optus Enterprises extensive innovation ecosystem, program participants will explore opportunities to collaborate, test, tweak and take to market solutions that will solve challenges facing enterprise and government customers.
The Innovation Program will be supported by Optus newest 5G Hub, located in the heart of the Sydney CBD at the Sydney Startup Hub, which currently acts as home for over 550 of Australias startups.
Collaboration is key to advancing how we implement 5G technology across enterprise organisations, said Chris Mitchell, Managing Director of Optus Enterprise. As we continue to implement AI, edge computing and ultra-reliable low latency technology into enterprise environments, programs like Optus Enterprises 5G Innovation Program will be at the heart of bringing together the right organisations to get the best outcome.
The program is now open to customer-ready Australian organisations. Successful organisations will explore opportunities to collaborate with Optus Enterprise on an ongoing basis with more organisations being added in future intakes.
