The Albanese Government will legislate for paid domestic violence leave following the recent Fair Work Commission’s provisional decision. Workplace Relations Minister Tony Burke has said in a recent letter to the Fair Work Commission:
Consistent with the commitments made in the Government’s Secure Australian Jobs Plan, the Government intends to introduce 10 days paid family and domestic violence leave into the ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ Employment Standards as soon as possible.
