Paradise Found At Coast Holiday Parks

Sunshine Coast Council

Council operates six holiday parks on the Sunshine Coast, all situated in idyllic coastal locations – Dicky Beach, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Cotton Tree, Coolum and Mudjimba.

From beachside mornings to barbecue evenings, these parks have become a cornerstone for families and friends looking for an unforgettable getaway on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Council Resilient Economy Portfolio Councillor Terry Landsberg said the holiday parks continued to grow in popularity as they offered community and economic benefit now and into the future.

“More than 65 per cent of visitors to our holiday parks are travelling from within two hours of the Sunshine Coast, proving the parks are a top choice for regional tourism and quick getaways,” Cr Landsberg said.

“All of our holiday parks are located close to the beach with excellent amenities and a variety of accommodation options, providing an attractive all-year-round holiday destination.

“It’s not hard to believe that stays for summer are now 95 per cent booked with many guests returning year-after-year, enjoying all the incredible things our region has to offer.”

For families like the Falconer-Morris family, staying at Mudjimba Holiday Park is all about location and connection.

While travelling around Australia, Claire Falconer said Mudjimba Holiday Park had so much to offer as a great place to stay while they explored the Sunshine Coast.

“Mudjimba Holiday Park is beautiful with lots of trees and feels very relaxing and quiet,” Ms Falconer said.

“The kids have thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we have all loved how close it is to the beach and cafes.”
