Premier Jeremy Rockliff has congratulated His Majesty The King, and Her Majesty The Queen Consort ahead of the King’s Coronation on Saturday 6 May 2023.
“To mark the historic occasion, Parliament House and the Tasman Bridge will be illuminated in Royal purple from dusk till dawn, on the evenings of Saturday 6 May and Sunday 7 May 2023,” the Premier said.
“Tasmania will be represented at the Coronation by our Governor, Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC.
“On behalf of all Tasmanians, I extend our congratulations to His Majesty The King, and Her Majesty The Queen Consort on this significant occasion.”
