Strathbogie Shire Councillors and staff were saddened to hear of the passing of Former Councillor Peter Woodhouse on 25th May.
Peter was elected to Strathbogie Shire Council following elections held in November 2008, as representative of the Goulburn Weir Ward, and served on Council for a four year period until the general elections in October 2012.
More recently, Peter has been an instrumental member of the Friendlies Oval Redevelopment Committee and gaining funding for stage one of the upgrade to the oval, which is currently underway.
He will be fondly remembered here at Council as an active member of his local community who gave a lot to Strathbogie Shire.
