A man has died after being hit by a car yesterday in Padstow.
About 6.10pm yesterday (Friday 11 August 2023) emergency services were called to Gibson Avenue, Padstow, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command arrived to find a 71-year-old man had been hit by a Hyundai hatchback.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition where he died.
The driver, a 32-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene, and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
