A pedestrian has died after a collision in Shelbourne this evening.
The man was walking along Nevinson Road, approximately one kilometre north of Maryborough-Bendigo road, when he was struck by a car shortly after 6pm.
Despite efforts by members of the public and emergency services to assist the man, he died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped to assist the man and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
