Following the success of last year’s celebration, which saw 7,000 school leavers celebrate the end of their final exams in style, we’re again hosting a two-day flagship music festival at the Rye foreshore on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November for Peninsula Schoolies 2022, followed by a week of activities and wellbeing support for school leavers.
The festival will include food trucks, local markets, and a music line-up featuring some of the country’s best and brightest talent, including:
- Peking Duk
- Hermitude
- Late Night Tuff Guy
- Northeast Party House
- Ruby Fields
- Teenage Dads; local up-and-comers.
Schoolies is a long-standing tradition and a rite of passage for school leavers and together with local event producer Hardware Group we’re building on last year’s blueprint for a well-structured 2022 event.
Right on the beach, the Rye Foreshore is the perfect place for Schoolies to make lasting memories, shake off the pressures of their final year at school and dance the night away in a safe and age-appropriate environment.
Our Youth Services, DanceWize and dedicated Red Frog volunteers will be on standby to provide direct relief, safety, and support to young people during the Schoolies Festival and select wellbeing activities across the whole week.
We are in contact with local businesses and residents and we’re looking forward to working with our community to build on the excitement and success from last year.
Peninsula Schoolies 2022 tickets cost $79.95 for a single day and $139.95 for a weekend pass. Proof of age and school ID is required.
Let’s make sure our young people can celebrate the end of school in style, while dancing to some of the biggest acts in Australia. Don’t miss out on this amazing event.
The event is for 2022 school leavers only.
