A Mascot pharmacist has been charged with sexual assault and will appear in court next month.
Officers from Botany Bay Police Area Command have been investigating a report that a 19-year-old woman was assaulted by a 45-year-old man after she attended a pharmacy in Mascot for a consultation on Monday 1 July 2019.
On Wednesday 24 July 2019, the man attended Mascot Police Station and was arrested.
He has now been charged with sexual assault without consent, and two counts of sexually touch another person without consent.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on 21 August 2019.
