Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Findon last night, where a man was assaulted and his mobile phone was stolen.
About 9.50pm on Thursday, 6 December, police and ambulance crews were called to a house in Norman Street after reports that a man had been assaulted by two men.
One of the men hit the victim in the head with a pole, and the suspects fled with a mobile phone that the victim had been advertising online for sale.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The suspects are being described as being of African appearance, and aged in their 20s.
