Police are at the scene of a light plane crash at Merriton.
About 4.10pm today (Sunday 8 October), emergency services were called to Mumfords Road after reports that a plane had crashed in a field.
The two people on board suffered serious injuries.
Major Crash officers are attending the scene.
Road closures are in place and please avoid the area if possible.
