Police are appealing for public assistance following a fire at a school on the state’s South Coast today.
About 1.40am (Tuesday 16 November 2021), emergency services were called to a high school on Albert Street, Moruya, after reports of a shed fire.
Police have been told prior to the fire, four unknown people were seen on the school grounds, before fleeing the scene.
Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.
The shed was completely destroyed, with the damage estimated to be worth more than $30,000.
No injuries were reported.
Officers from The South Coast Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information, as well as dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, to come forward.
