Detectives from Centenary Crime Team have released vision in relation to a number of break and enters across businesses in South Brisbane earlier this week.
On Wednesday June 7, an unknown group of people attempted to force entry into a convenience store on Denham Terrace, Tarragindi with an angle grinder around 1.15am.
Damage was sustained to the shopfront and the group left the scene after they were unable to gain entry.
Later that morning, around 1.30am, the same group smashed the glass door to a service station on Evans Road, Salisbury.
The alarm was activated, and the group left emptyhanded in a grey coloured SUV.
At approximately 1.50am, the group forced entry into a service station on Annerley Road, Dutton Park and attempted unsuccessfully to use an angle grinder to access and steal cigarettes, then fled the scene.
Around 2.10am, the group forced entry into a business on Blunder Road, Oxley and stole a cash register.
The group attended another business on Parkwood Drive, Heathwood around 2.40am and smashed the front glass door before stealing the cash register and other property.
They also attempted to gain access to two businesses around 2.45am on Joseph Banks Avenue, Forest Lake but were unsuccessful.
Shortly after 3am, the unknown offenders gained access to a service station on Learoyd Road, Acacia Ridge and fled emptyhanded.
A grocery store on Kameruka Street, Calamvale was broken into around 3.15am that morning, with the offenders stealing cash and cigarettes.
Investigators believe all eight incidents are linked.
Anyone who may have information, CCTV or dashcam vision that may be of interest is asked to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
