Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike rider was seriously injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash at Mudgeeraba this morning, June 9.
Emergency services were called to Gold Coast Springbrook Road at approximately 10.15am following reports a black Yamaha motorbike had collided with a gold Toyota Landcruiser station wagon near Hardys Road.
Upon arrival, the rider, a 19-year-old Mudgeeraba man was located with serious injuries and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital.
The other driver, an 18-year-old Mudgeeraba woman, was treated at the scene, and is continuing to assist police with investigations
Witnesses, particularly motorists with relevant dashcam footage, are urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
