Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney’s inner west.
Jacinta Prakash, aged 16, was last seen at Central railway station about 3.45pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 17 December 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and her disappearance being out of character.
Jacinta is described as being of Indian/Subcontinental appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build with long black hair and brown-coloured eyes.
She was last seen wearing a pink top and black leggings.
Jacinta is known to frequent the Coogee, Glebe, Leichhardt and Marrickville areas.
