Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Sydney’s lower north shore.
Shahnaz Salami, aged 76, was last seen at a nursing home on Bobbin Head Road, Turramurra at 7:40pm today (Wednesday 24 April 2024).
When she failed to return and could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced enquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Shahnaz’s welfare as she has dementia and doesn’t speak English.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm tall, medium build, with short black hair and tanned complexion.
She was last seen wearing beige shorts and a top, and a white cardigan, and may be carrying two containers.
