Police are responding to fatal collision in Berwick 15 September

Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Berwick this morning.

Investigators have been told a white Subaru wagon and a blue Ford ute collided near the intersection of O’Shea Road and Kimbarra Drive about 7.50am.

The driver of the Subaru, a 49-year-old man from Berwick, died at the scene.

The other driver, a 29-year-old Cranbourne man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital under police guard.

His passenger, a 24-year-old Cranbourne East woman also sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

O’Shea Road is closed in both directions and Kimbarra Drive is closed between Augustus Drive and O’Shea Road.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
