Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Heathmere this evening.
It is understood two cars collided on the Princes Highway about 6.35pm.
One driver, who is yet-to-be-formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the other car were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and an investigation is underway.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are enroute to the scene.
