Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in the Melbourne CBD this morning.
Investigators have been told a car and motorcycle collided near the intersection of Flinders Street and Exhibition Street just before 11am on 15 November.
Members of the public performed CPR on the yet to be identified male rider until emergency services arrived.
Unfortunately the rider died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
The investigation is ongoing.
