A person has died following a fatal crash at Caurnamont, near Younghusband, in the Murray Mallee last night.
The single car crash occurred just after 9.30pm on Monday 6 January on Purnong Road, Caurnamont.
The driver sadly died at the scene.
The road was closed in both directions for a number of hours whilst Major Crash officers examined the scene but has since re-opened.
The man’s death is the first life lost on South Australian roads this year.
