A woman in her 20’s has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash on the Bruce Highway at Koumala this morning, Sunday March 27.
Initial investigations indicate that at approximately 7.45am near North Inneston Road and Petersen Road, a Suzuki Swift and truck collided.
The female driver of the Suzuki Swift, and sole occupant, died from her injuries at the scene.
The 60-year-old male truck driver was not physically injured.
The incident closed the Bruce Highway in the area for approximately 3 hours.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
