The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash at Worongary on the Gold Coast yesterday, October 1.
Initial investigations indicate a silver Subaru Forester was travelling north along The Panorama just after 8.30pm, when it failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into an embankment on Worongary Road.
Emergency crews were called, but the sole occupant of the car, a 30-year-old man, died at the scene.
Anyone with information or dashcam vision of the crash, or the lead up to it, that could help investigations is urged to come forward.
