Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Aveley this morning, Sunday 11 September 2022.
About 6:40am, a white Toyota Corolla travelling south on Edgerton Road, turned right onto Gnangara Road and for unknown reasons continued across the median strip and into a lake.
The 20-year-old female driver and 20-year-old female passenger died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
