A 50-year-old woman has died following a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred in Burnett Heads this morning, December 7.
Initial investigations indicate at approximately 6.30am a car was travelling along Hermans Road near Somerville Street when it crashed.
The driver, a 50-year-old Bundaberg woman, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The passenger, a 63-year-old woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Bundaberg base Hospital for treatment.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area is urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
