Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in East Rockingham this morning, Thursday 18 August 2022.
About 2:25am, police were notified by St John Ambulance of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Patterson Road and Ennis Avenue.
Upon attendance, a 17-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were located with critical injuries. A member of the public was providing emergency first-aid to one of the riders at the time, however, they both sadly died at the scene.
Prior to the crash, the motorcycle was sighted by another police vehicle further along Ennis Avenue, however no attempt was made to intercept the motorcycle.
