A 39-year-old man has died following a two vehicle crash in Nerang this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate at 1.30pm a motorbike was travelling westbound along Hope Street when it collided with a truck.
The rider, a 39-year-old Carrara man, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
The sole occupant of the truck, a 44-year-old man, was uninjured.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is being urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
