Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash which occurred in North Lake yesterday, Saturday 13 July 2024.
About 11.40pm, a white Toyota Hilux utility was travelling south east on Farrington Road when it crashed and rolled, before colliding with a black Jeep Patriot SUV, which was travelling west on Farrington Road.
An 18-year-old male rear passenger of the Toyota died at the scene.
The 17-year-old male driver and three other male passengers of the Toyota – one aged 17 and two aged 18 – were taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John WA for treatment of various injuries.
The 26-year-old male driver and 27-year-old female passenger of the Jeep were taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital by St John WA with minor injuries.
