Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred approximately 40 km from the Ringers Soak community, Gordon Downs Road, Sturt Creek, on Friday 11 September 2020.
Around 11.20am a Mitsubishi Triton utility travelling south on Gordon Downs Road collided head on with a Toyota Hilux utility travelling north. At this time the Toyota Hilux had four occupants.
The front passenger of the Toyota Hilux, a man in his 30s and the right rear passenger, a man in his 20s received lower leg fractures. The left rear passenger, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota Hilux received serious non-life threatening injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi Triton utility, a man in his 30s, received lower leg fractures.
Injured parties were conveyed to the Perth State Trauma Ward and Broome hospital for treatment.
