Police are responding to serious crash at Holden Hill, South Australia

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a crash at Holden Hill this evening.

Just after 6pm on Saturday 20 July, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on North East Road, Holden Hill, near the intersection of Wandana Avenue.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 80s, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The female driver of the sedan was taken to the Modbury Hospital for treatment of shock.

Two north east lanes of North East Road are closed to traffic while police examined the scene.
